About Us

Meet the Band!

All Out Emo! came about during the early stages of 2020. Having been in bands since he was 14 years old, Danny decided it was time for a change and time for something a little bit different.

He wanted to create something “the likes of which had never been seen”. With a huge love for all things 90’s and 00’s, the path which had to be taken became pretty obvious; to create a band that celebrates the best of all the Pop-Punk/Emo/NuMetal bands from the generation which we all know and love.

After lots of searching and many auditions, Danny managed to find the most skilled musicians with the same love, passion and vision for band that he has.

Thus  ALL OUT EMO! were born.

Danny ‘Boof’ Gould

Lead Vocals/Samples

Musical Influences: Everything from Disney to Disturbed, my fav bands includes, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, Enter Shikari, Avenged Sevenfold, Skindred, Royal Republic, Busted, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Slipnkot, you get the idea haha.

I first found a love for music at the age of 8 years old as very much a child of the theatre by attending Italia Conti stage school. By the age of 14 this has grown into a love for any and all things rock.

At 15 i started play bass in a school covers band with a few friends, had an original band for 8 years in which i developed a love for screaming vocals. I’ve been a singer now in bands since i was 22 all over the Essex cover scene.

I had to just do All Out Emo! playing all the songs from my youth back when i was a grubby little teenager in secondary school, I couldn’t be in band with a better bunch of lads. We all instantly clicked and all gel so well when rehearsing and playing. I cant wait to see where this goes.

Tony Trott

Lead Guitar/Producer/Backing Vocals

Musical Influences: Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Enter Shikari, My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte and Green Day

I first picked up a guitar at the age of 12 thanks to a love for all things BUSTED. After entering a talent competition singing ‘Year 3000’ while donning a Charlie Simpson-esque Unibrow and an inflatable guitar, a love for the stage and rock music was born.

This naturally progressed into my teenage years being consumed and inspired by all things alt and emo. I started gigging with my pop-punk band ‘Selective Walk’ from the age of 15.

My love for the swishy fringe, tattered converse and skinny jeans followed me into my adult life as I adopted a new love for bands such as Enter Shikari, Don Broco and Lower than Atlantis of which these inspirations can be heard in my new original material under the name “TONYT”

I can’t wait to take you on the ultimate nostalgia trip with All Out Emo! and jump in the pit with you ASAP!

All Out Emo has given me the chance to get back into live music and reignited my passion for performing. With an awesome group of dudes and aspirations on the horizon, I’m really looking forward to where we can go

Mark ‘Badger’ Catherall

Bass

Musical Influences: Incubus, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Greenday, RHCP.

Self taught bassist from 14 years old after discovering my love for Nu Metal/Punk music the year earlier. Always dreamed of becoming a rockstar but when I left school and eventually my career brought me down south from Newcastle, my guitar came with me, but my focus on playing didn’t.

Picked up again three years ago and joined another local cover band playing some of the more alt/rock songs of my youth, I couldn’t resist joining AOE and playing all the Emo/Nu Metal songs of my younger years that I still listen to on the daily today.

Simon ‘Sharky’ Herbert

Musical Influences: Stuart Copeland (The Police) Tomas Haake (Meshuggah) Jose Pasillas (Incubus) Vinnie Paul (Pantera) Chris Adler (Lamb of God)

Father, lover, artist, musician 😎 Brought up on funk and the 80s new romantics until discovering Pantera’s Vulgar display of power in the early 90s. Being the singer and rhythm guitarist in a band at the age of 16 was all well and good, but soon discovered a passion for drumming.

Playing in bands such as: Deadbolt, 9 Days Down, GraVil and E.C.F.O.P have provided album releases, magazine reviews, launch parties and music award shows.

I had to join AOE. Career and general life had sideswiped my musical appetite, but when I saw the set-list I just had to tuck in
